I am Back with a Different yet Even More Beautiful Life!
Hi, Guys! It's been a while since I wrote my last article. I now have a cute, handsome baby boy who was born on April 8, 2016. I was so busy back then and oh, even until now, of course, since I am new mother. It was very hard for me at first when my baby was born because I decided to live with my partner and there's only a three of us in the house with no help from experts (like my mom). I have raised and taken really good care of my baby since day 1 and I took care of him in his first month.
However, the test was so hard that I could not bear any longer since my partner does not have a job and is still trying to find one at the moment. Before my baby turned 2 months, I decided to look for a job and to find one easily, I chose to apply at Business Process Outsourcing Industry and luckily I got hired at Convergys Philippines located at IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City. That was my first job hunting after five years of engaging in a Work-At-Home situation and I was hired!
I was good back then in the first few months because I felt really energized and did not feel like I have just given birth. However, due to stress and pressure at work and at home (since I still look after my very young baby when I got home), I felt weak and less motivated. So I only spent six months there - I resigned before I got termed because I know I would be due to frequent absences, which is a very big NO NO in a call center industry. So I just resigned on Dec. 11.
I feel stress-free but no money, hell-yeah! Being a call center agent is really rewarding as you receive timely and reasonable salary twice a month BUT it cannot compensate the EXTREME pressure and stress I would get from the job. Or maybe I just had a post-partum depression and stress that I always think of quitting and just lying on my bed all the time. Also, I always miss my baby!
Anyway, I did not regret after all because I know I am capable enough (it is not that I am being arrogant but I am just optimistic). I am capable enough to earn even while at home. Yeah, and my decision of quitting is perfect for this season as I would celebrate my very first Christmas with my baby Ezekiel Frankie and look how cute he is in the picture!
Hey, I do have a plan to apply for the same industry next year because it is the easiest way I can earn money since I really need it much. I am now supporting my little one. :)
